As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will greet team members and drivers with professional customer service, communicate clearly, and document observations. Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 6+ months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • X-Ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, contractors, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications, documenting actions taken, and assisting with scene control as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, trailer yards, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access control points such as entry gates, employee entrances, and shipping and receiving docks by verifying identification, directing foot and vehicle traffic, and logging arrivals and departures per site requirements.
  • Complete daily activity logs and incident reports, communicate status updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and observe cameras and/or alarm panels when assigned.
