As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will report concerns, support access control and visitor activity as needed, and deliver strong customer service through clear communication. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter lines; document observations and report unusual conditions.
- Control access at entry points by verifying identification, monitoring deliveries and pickups, and directing visitors and contractors according to site procedures.
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
- Complete shift reports and activity logs, monitor cameras and/or alarm panels when assigned, and report maintenance issues that may impact security-related operations.
