As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support day-to-day operations with clear communication and customer service. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, drivers, and visitors by following security-related procedures, location policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and screen entrants using location protocols, including checking identification, verifying appointments, and directing foot and vehicle traffic.
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
- Complete reports and logs, including patrol activity, access activity, and incident details, and communicate observations to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
