You will conduct routine foot patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, assist with access control and badging, and respond to questions or concerns with strong customer service. You will use computers and/or tablets to document activities, communicate clearly, and support a culture built on integrity and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech and/or telecom location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions according to post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, network operations areas, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious or policy-violating behavior through established channels.
  • Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident reports, communicate notable events to site contacts, and support security-related operations as assigned.
