You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for service, document observations, and provide clear, customer-focused communication with staff and visitors. Requirements

  • Client Requires Proof of HS Diploma/GED.
  • Be 21+ Years of Age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology campus or office environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, observing for unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor access points and interior areas as assigned, verifying identification and/or credentials, assisting with visitor check-in, and documenting access activity per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate resources, providing clear directions to occupants, and supporting incident scene control until relieved.
  • Complete accurate daily activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate observations and/or service needs to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
