You will complete routine rounds, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, support access control at entrances, and document observations. Strong customer service and clear communication are key as you assist staff, residents, and visitors while living our agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture.

Requirements

• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and staff by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and support visitor management processes such as sign-in, badge issuance, and directing individuals to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, using de-escalation and timely communication with site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Complete reports and logs for patrols, incidents, and noteworthy activity, and communicate observations and follow-up needs during shift changes.
