As an unarmed patrol officer at a leading tech and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms and/or requests for assistance, document observations, and deliver customer-focused communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be 21 years of age or older.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access control points and security-related systems such as badge readers, visitor logs, and cameras, escalating irregular activity per post orders.
  • Complete routine reports, incident logs, and shift handoffs, supporting a consistent security-related presence while working in varying environments and conditions by location.
