You will complete routine rounds, maintain a visible presence, and document observations while supporting access control and responding to requests. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, or at least 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience, or at least 3 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to client personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate contacts, documenting observations, and assisting with access control measures as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and help to maintain orderly movement of employees, contractors, and deliveries through designated checkpoints.
  • Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoff notes with clear, timely details, and communicate security-related information to supervisors and site contacts.
