As a driving unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, you will conduct mobile and on-foot patrols, stay highly visible, and help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. You will respond to calls for assistance, document observations, and communicate clearly with store teams and law enforcement when needed. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail store and surrounding property.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disputes, medical situations, alarms, and reports of suspicious activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors, entrances and exits, stock areas, parking lots, and perimeter areas to help to deter security-related incidents and identify maintenance or operational concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for potential security-related issues, coordinating with store management and/or law enforcement when needed.
• Complete incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation, and communicate observations and updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
