Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech and media location where you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter incidents, and support security-related checks of doors, gates, and visitor activity. You will deliver clear customer service and communication, document observations, and escalate concerns with integrity and teamwork. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and media location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and badge-controlled doors during patrol rounds, reporting irregularities such as forced doors, damaged equipment, and/or suspicious behavior per site protocols.
  • Complete routine reports such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs, using required systems and communication channels to support daily operations.
