As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control at entrances and key points, respond to calls for assistance, and deliver strong customer service through clear communication. Requirements

Have at least 2 or more years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 or more years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures and assisting with access control and visitor management at a healthcare location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter, noting unusual activity and helping to discourage unauthorized access.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical and/or behavioral events, and coordinate with clinical staff and local responders as directed.
Complete security-related reports, activity logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems when assigned, and support emergency response activities such as evacuation and/or shelter-in-place procedures per site policy.
