Requirements

• Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including escalating concerns to clinical staff and/or emergency services as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control points, reporting irregularities and completing incident reports and daily activity logs per site requirements.
• Support visitor management and access control processes such as greeting, directing, badge verification, and assisting with controlled entry to restricted areas when requested.
