As an Allied Universal Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will support access control by verifying credentials, issuing badges, managing visitor check-in, and monitoring activity at entry points. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with employees, contractors, and guests. Requirements

• A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• You must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Control access at entry points by verifying identification, issuing and collecting badges and/or passes, and directing visitors and deliveries to designated check-in areas.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian traffic at gates, including screening delivery drivers, confirming appointments and/or shipping documentation, and maintaining accurate entry and exit logs.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting actions taken, and supporting on-site leadership as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, production areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations, and report maintenance or operational concerns observed.
