As an Allied Universal Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, greet employees and visitors, and support a smooth check in process. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and document activity while communicating clearly with site teams. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, access control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Control entry and exit at gates and/or building access points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, confirming authorization, and directing deliveries and contractors to designated areas.
• Maintain access logs and site records such as visitor, truck, and contractor activity, and report unusual conditions to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with evacuations, alarms, and incident documentation per site-specific requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the perimeter, parking areas, and exterior checkpoints, with working environments and conditions that may vary by location.
