As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol the premises of a manufacturing and industrial location, helping to deter security-related incidents and unauthorized access. Requirements

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the facility to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter, observing for unusual activity or potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Assist with emergency response procedures, including evacuations or lockdowns, as required by site-specific policies.
• Support the enforcement of company policies and procedures related to access control and visitor management within the manufacturing and industrial environment.
• Communicate professionally with client staff, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
