In this driving post, you will complete routine mobile and foot patrols, remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance. You will document observations, communicate clearly with team members and site contacts, and deliver a welcoming presence. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At least 1+ years of security experience is required.
  • Must be at least 21+ years of age.
  • A Guard Card/license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a transportation location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, platforms, lots, access points, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by post.
  • Monitor entrances and controlled access areas, check identification and/or credentials as directed, and assist with visitor management and contractor check-in processes.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including dispatching assistance, providing clear directions, and documenting actions taken.
  • Complete detailed shift activity reports and incident documentation, report hazards and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel, and help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
