As an Armed Patrol Officer at an industrial manufacturing location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and reports, document activity, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors while delivering strong customer service. Requirements

• Have 1+ years' armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Have an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access control requirements, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, radios, and other security-related systems, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and local emergency services as needed.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs, including documenting inspections, patrol results, and corrective actions taken.
