As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with tenants, visitors, and site contacts while delivering customer service with integrity and teamwork. An armed guard card/license is required. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 10:00 AM - 07:00 PM Sat 10:00 AM - 05:00 PM Sun 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM

Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of commercial property areas including building interiors, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter zones; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry and/or deliveries; assist with visitor management and direct individuals to appropriate destinations per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, documenting events, and notifying appropriate personnel as required.
• Complete detailed reports of patrol activities, incidents, and maintenance concerns; communicate observations that may help to deter unwanted activity and/or property loss.
