As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a welcoming atmosphere for staff, patients, and visitors. You will remain highly visible, respond to situations with professionalism, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Proof of hospital-required vaccines is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to maintain order and support the healthcare staff and patients.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Observe and report any unusual circumstances, hazards, or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific policies.
Assist with access control procedures, including verifying identification and monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Support emergency response efforts by following protocols and assisting first responders as needed within the healthcare location.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned area to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to staff, patients, and visitors.
