You will complete routine rounds, maintain a visible presence, manage access points, and support badge and/or visitor processes while delivering strong customer service and clear communication. Requirements

  • Security Experience ‐ 2+ Years is required.
  • Client Requires Proof of HS Diploma/GED is required.
  • 21+ Years of Age is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying the appropriate contacts and completing required documentation.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, fence lines, gates, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
  • Support access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying authorization where required, and directing visitors and contractors to the appropriate check-in process.
  • Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs, and communicate observed conditions such as suspicious activity, hazards, and/or equipment issues to site leadership.
