As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to calls for service, document observations, and deliver strong customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license and compliance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements, in a team-focused culture grounded in integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and post orders at an aero and defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, work areas, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or policy concerns.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements while maintaining accurate logs and documentation.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and supporting emergency response activities as directed.
  • Complete detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and observations, and communicate status updates to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
