Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from property management and/or public responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of residential and commercial common areas, parking areas, sidewalks, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access.
Monitor for and report suspicious behavior, property concerns, and policy violations, taking appropriate action consistent with post orders.
Control access by checking credentials, verifying visitor purpose, and directing residents and guests to appropriate locations in accordance with site procedures.
Write clear and complete daily activity reports and incident reports, documenting observations, actions taken, and follow-up needs.
Operate site equipment such as radios, phones, and access control systems, and communicate updates to supervisors and/or property management as required.
Provide direction and assistance during property events, deliveries, and vendor service calls, including traffic and parking support when needed.
Perform perimeter checks for unsecured doors, gates, and lighting issues, and promptly report maintenance concerns through established channels.
Support emergency and medical situations by following site procedures, assisting with scene control, and guiding responders to the location.
