As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a professional location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine foot patrols, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to requests, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering customer service. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, common spaces, and exterior grounds, to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations, reporting concerns according to site procedures.
- Complete required reports and documentation such as incident reports, shift logs, and patrol records, and communicate relevant updates to the next shift and/or site leadership.
