You will complete routine mobile and foot patrols across buildings and parking areas, stay highly visible to help discourage unwanted activity, respond to calls for service, and support tenants and visitors with clear communication and a customer-first approach. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 6 months of security experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and security-related protocols at a commercial office location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or operational concerns.
• Monitor entrances and controlled access points, verify credentials when required, and direct visitors to appropriate destinations while maintaining a professional presence.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, contacting emergency services when needed, and assisting with emergency response activities per post orders.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate timely updates to site management and Allied Universal supervision.
