As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with professional customer service. You will monitor assigned areas, assist with access points as needed, and communicate observations clearly. You will bring agility, reliability, and integrity while collaborating with a team that puts people first.

Requirements

Have at least 1+ years of security experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter; report unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing people and vehicles, verifying credentials when required, and directing visitors according to site guidelines.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, disturbances, and fire and/or alarm conditions; notify emergency services and site contacts as directed.
Complete shift activity reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and/or site management, and support investigations by preserving observations and relevant information.
