Job Description As a Security Officer - Night Patrol Driver in Deer Park, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access points while providing strong customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in the job state. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- A TSA issued TWIC is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in an industrial processing location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site contacts and public emergency services as directed by post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, tank farms, loading areas, administrative spaces, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazardous conditions.
- Control access by verifying identification and/or authorization, directing visitor and contractor check-in, and documenting entries and exits according to site requirements.
- Monitor alarms, cameras, and communication systems; document observations and incidents in written reports; and communicate status updates to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
