As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced tech and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and deliver customer-focused support with integrity and teamwork. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license and meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements, in an agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including receiving calls for service, assessing conditions, and communicating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, and the perimeter to help reduce unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Monitor access points and security-related systems such as alarms, cameras, and badge-controlled doors, and report irregularities per post orders.
  • Complete required documentation such as incident reports, patrol logs, and shift handoff notes, and assist with visitor and/or contractor check-in in accordance with site procedures.
