As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a government location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential issues.
Monitor access points and observe activities to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior within the government facility.
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to provide information and assistance as needed.
Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel when required, following established procedures for government locations.
