As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage processing location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps reduce security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with employees and visitors, document observations, and respond to concerns with a customer-service mindset. Requirements

• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to assigned location personnel and/or visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Control access at entrances and gated points by checking identification, logging visitors and/or vendors, and directing deliveries according to site procedures.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems where assigned, and report irregular conditions, food facility access concerns, and/or maintenance issues through proper channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, complete required reports, and communicate updates to site management and/or emergency responders as needed.
