As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, observe and report unusual activity, and respond to requests with clear communication and customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific policies, access control procedures, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to alarms, reports of suspicious activity, and/or critical incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report findings through required documentation and communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, entrances, loading areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor cameras, alarm panels, and/or other security-related systems as assigned, and escalate irregular conditions to the appropriate contacts.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and/or shift handoffs accurately and promptly, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality consistent with the client environment.
