Job Description As a Security Officer - Mobile Patrol in Knoxville, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. You will document observations, respond to calls for assistance, and deliver customer service that reflects Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, truck yards, parking areas, and perimeter fencing, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity.
• Monitor access points for employees, contractors, and visitors, assisting with check-in procedures and directing traffic flow for deliveries and pickups as required by site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical situations, alarms, and disturbances, and communicate updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Complete written and/or electronic reports, including shift activity logs, incident reports, and patrol findings, and report maintenance hazards or security-related concerns through the appropriate channels.
