You will conduct routine patrols and vehicle rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance with calm, clear communication. Working with a caring team that puts people first, you will support patients, visitors, and staff with reliable service while acting with integrity and adapting quickly to changing needs.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- A minimum of 1 year of security experience is required.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as required.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter, watching for unusual activity and conditions that may help to deter incidents.
- Monitor access points, assist with visitor directions and/or check-in as assigned, and help maintain orderly traffic flow in lobbies, corridors, and other public areas.
- Complete patrol logs and incident reports, document observations accurately, and communicate pertinent information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
