As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech data center location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support daily operations through clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in the job state. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology data center location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate timely updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations using required paper and/or electronic systems, and maintain accurate logs as directed by site procedures.
• Support security-related operations by monitoring CCTV and/or intrusion systems when assigned, verifying credentials, and coordinating with local responders as needed.
