About The Position

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a busy logistics and warehouse location, you will make routine rounds, stay highly visible, and help identify and report security-related concerns. You will respond to alarms and service requests, document activity using a computer or tablet, and deliver customer-focused communication to team members and visitors. This is a driving post, so a valid driver’s license is required.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including the business and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
