Job Description As a Security Officer - Mobile Patrol Driver in HUNTINGTON , WV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This primarily driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding our core values of agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity as you contribute to a secure environment for all.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
  • Valid Driver's License with a least 1 year of driving experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a chemical or petrochemical environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential hazards.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with onsite personnel and/or visitors as needed.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related issues within the location.
  • Document all activities and incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
