About The Position

As a Security Officer - Mobile Patrol Driver in Orovada, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced manufacturing and industrial location as an unarmed Patrol Officer in a driving post. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance with professionalism and clear communication. Bring a valid driver’s license and a customer-service mindset as you support a caring, agile, reliable, and integrity-driven team.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Conduct routine and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, yards, and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Control access at vehicle and pedestrian entry points by verifying credentials, screening deliveries, and directing traffic flow in accordance with post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications, documenting observations, and supporting on-site leadership as needed.
• Complete detailed reports and logs, including patrol activity, access control actions, incidents, and maintenance or hazard observations, and communicate updates during shift turnovers.
