Job Description As a Security Officer - Mobile Patrol Driver in Tucson, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at an aero and defense location as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a professional, mission-focused environment. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Control access to restricted areas by checking identification, verifying visitor authorization, issuing badges as directed, and maintaining visitor and/or contractor logs per post orders.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of buildings, hangars, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with alarms, dispatch requests, and coordination with onsite personnel and/or public responders as directed.
- Document patrol activity, access control actions, and incidents in daily reports and complete required notifications through established communication channels.
