You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to reports with clear communication and customer service. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies within an aerospace and defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access control points, verify credentials as directed, and assist with visitor processing, deliveries, and contractor coordination per site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, suspicious activity, medical calls, and/or facility emergencies, and notify site contacts and/or public responders as required.
  • Document shift activities, patrol observations, and incidents in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate notable information to oncoming personnel and site leadership.
