Join Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location where you will manage access control, greet tenants and visitors, verify credentials, issue badges, monitor cameras and alarms, and complete routine patrols to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, property policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, confirming visitor authorization, issuing temporary credentials when directed, and maintaining required visitor and delivery logs.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and building access systems; identify unusual activity and report concerns according to post orders and escalation guidelines.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with property management and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or property damage, documenting observations per site requirements.
