About The Position

As a Security Officer - Mobile Response Driver in Mooresville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Allied Universal Patrol Officer, you will help support a construction location through high-visibility patrols, incident recognition, and clear reporting. This is a driving post that requires a valid driver’s license, so you will conduct vehicle patrols, check perimeter points, and respond to calls for service while providing professional customer service to site teams and visitors. You will document security-related activity and communicate updates with integrity and teamwork.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of active work areas, staging areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or unauthorized access.
  • Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, verifying authorization, and directing visitors, deliveries, and contractors according to post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
  • Prepare clear, timely reports and maintain daily activity logs, including observations from patrols, incidents, and communications with site personnel.
