As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. Your presence will offer reassurance to staff, patients, and visitors, while your strong communication skills will support exceptional customer service. You will play a key role in maintaining a welcoming environment, responding professionally to incidents, and utilizing technology such as computers or tablets. Requirements

Must be comfortable working in a hospital environment, including areas such as the morgue and assisting with restraining individuals as required.
Must comply with hospital vaccination requirements.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Observe and report any security-related irregularities, unusual activity, or potential hazards encountered during patrols.
Collaborate with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and support the overall functioning of the facility.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all incidents, activities, and observations as required by site protocols.
Assist in managing access control and visitor management procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas.
