As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in an educational setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment. You will remain visible throughout the location, interact with students, staff, and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid are preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within the educational environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist visitors, students, and staff with directions and information as needed while maintaining a visible presence.
Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders when required by site protocols.
