As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol healthcare locations, providing a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements
- Vaccination is required for this hospital position.
- Work may involve duties in the hospital morgue.
- Must be able to restrain individuals as required in a hospital setting.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare environment in a calm and problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to identify potential concerns.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership as required.
- Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
- Support access control by monitoring entrances and exits, checking identification as needed, and helping to maintain a secure environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff and first responders during emergencies or drills, following established protocols.
