Job Description As a Security Officer - Medical Facility Rover in Culver City, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine rounds, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance. You will support staff, patients, and visitors with professional customer service, clear communication, and accurate reporting. Bring integrity, teamwork, and a people-first mindset as you help maintain a welcoming environment across the campus.

Requirements

  • Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Have at least 2+ years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and security-related procedures, and by supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and local responders as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns for reporting.
  • Monitor access points and controlled areas as assigned, assisting with visitor guidance, badge or credential checks when required, and directing individuals to appropriate locations.
  • Document security-related activities and incidents using detailed written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate relevant updates during shift transitions.
