As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic education campus, you will conduct routine foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce incidents, support access control, and respond to security-related concerns with calm professionalism. You will assist students, staff, and visitors with directions and service-minded communication, document activity, and work as a team to solve problems. Requirements

• Have 2 or more years of security experience.
• Vaccines are required for hospital roles.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have 2 or more years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, and visitors by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns and coordinating with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, walkways, parking areas, and the perimeter, noting unusual conditions and reporting them per post orders.
• Control access as assigned by monitoring entrances, checking credentials when required, and directing visitors to appropriate locations while maintaining a professional presence.
• Complete required logs and incident reports, document patrol activity, and communicate status updates to supervision and/or site representatives using approved communication methods.
