Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, supporting a positive environment for staff and visitors.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Document and report any irregularities, including property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and maintaining visitor logs as required by site policies.
Work closely with Allied Universal management and site contacts to address security-related concerns and support the needs of a technology-focused environment.
Remain alert and observant while on duty, adapting to changing conditions and requirements specific to a technology and media location.
