As a Security Officer - Media Patrol in Saint Charles, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help minimize disruption at the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Assist with access control and monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related needs specific to a technology and media environment.
Support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and/or contractors by providing helpful information and assistance as needed.
