As a Security Officer - Media Patrol Driver in Clarksville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a leading tech, media, and telecom location. This is a driving post that requires a valid driver's license. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and uphold our values of agility, reliability, innovation, and teamwork.

Requirements

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the site and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues, with working environments and conditions varying based on the location.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
  • Assist visitors and employees by providing information or directions as needed within the location.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site contacts to address security-related matters and help to maintain a secure environment.
