Job Description As a Security Officer - Media Campus Patrol Driver in Bridgeton, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech, media, and telecom location as an unarmed Patrol Officer in a driving role. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to requests with clear communication and customer service. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting onsite management and/or public emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office spaces, common areas, parking areas and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Monitor alarms, cameras and/or access control systems, and report unusual activity according to post orders.
Control access for employees, contractors and visitors by verifying identification, issuing temporary badges and directing guests to approved areas.
Perform routine checks of doors, gates, loading areas and critical rooms to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
Document patrol activity, incidents, maintenance concerns and policy violations using written logs and/or electronic reporting tools.
Assist with crowd management and orderly movement during meetings, events and shift changes, as directed by site leadership.
Coordinate with Allied Universal leadership, client representatives and local responders to support incident response and business continuity activities.
Support a professional workplace by providing directions, answering questions and helping to resolve minor concerns before they escalate.
