As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and strong customer service. You will represent Allied Universal with an agile, reliable, and innovative approach, supporting a caring culture that puts people first while delivering through teamwork and acting with integrity.

Requirements

CPR certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a tech-focused location by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor access points and verify credentials, issue visitor passes per site policy, and/or help direct authorized personnel to the appropriate areas.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support, notifying on-site contacts, and documenting actions taken.
Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicate relevant observations to supervisors and/or site contacts, and support security-related audits such as checking doors, alarms, and equipment status.
